The pizza press is back in Ireland’s top flight, with the introduction of a new breed of presser for the Six Nations on Thursday.
The team has also confirmed a new coach for the 2016/17 campaign, with Ross Cronin stepping down from the job he has held for the last four years.
The pizza press will be introduced to fans via the television screens at Allianz Stadium, while the team is expected to use the pressers for live matches.
It is hoped that the new presser will help the team to achieve its goals for the upcoming season, with all five games scheduled to be played in the home venue.
The presser is expected in addition to the home game against Scotland at Allians Stadium on November 29.
It comes after the team confirmed that it would be making a new kit for the forthcoming season, as it looks to return to the Champions Cup final and earn a place in the final.
The kit, which was unveiled at the squad’s official training ground, will be released on Tuesday, December 14, with a full kit unveiling on Friday, December 18.
It will be the fourth kit to be unveiled for the team this year, with two coming in the first half of the season.
Allianz will host its first home game of the campaign on Saturday, December 20.
